Virginity

Why did every culture and society in the past value a woman's virginity? Because every culture and society that valued women's virginity were superior in some way to the others that didn't. Here I will explain why virginity is extremely import and a very precious thing that should not be squandered.

Women who have pre-marital sex have a higher risk of divorce, but only if she didn't go on to marry the man she had pre-marital sex with. The reason for this is that women cannot help but fall in love with the person they have sex with. The man's semen contains many different hormones and other chemicals that are absorbed into the woman's bloodstream after sex. These hormones act on her brain and compels her to form an emotional attachment to the man, almost like a "love potion". Women are largely biological creatures (more so than men), so they follow their instincts more than men do.

A woman can never really let go of her first love. When she has pre-marital sex with someone and then marries another, her subconscious brain is still stuck on the first man she had sex with. This prevents her from having a complete relationship with her husband.

In modern society (especially in western countries) this first love is given away very cheaply. This contributes to the high divorce rates we are currently witnessing. In fact, most parents seem to think that it's good for their sons and daughters to experiment with sex before committing to a relationship based on love. But this attitude is actually very backwards. To ensure that their children lead successful lives, parents need to look out for suitable men and women and then after a thorough vetting process, marry their sons and daughters to these suitable matches. Only after marriage should they be allowed to have sex. After marriage, sex unites the couple (specifically the attachment process starts in the woman's brain).

[edit] Abstinence

There are many groups, mostly faith-based and religious, that try and encourage people to abstain from sex before marriage. While their conclusions are correct, often their premises are wrong, or they don't know why they believe what they believe. 9
