god is the universe, and science (discovery of god/god's attributes) is worship.
there needs to be a "council" that decides upon doctrine and theology. Atheists have no need for mysticism, but their error is in assuming that everyone else feels the same way. Humans are predisposed to believing in the supernatural, but to varying degrees.
