Sciencism

This is a very difficult thing for most people to understand: Sciencism is based on science, while no other religion out there can make the same claim.

• Christianity is not based on science. Christianity is based on the bible and the bible was a product of its time. The bible was fixed in time shortly after the death of Jesus. Anything that happened afterwards and in the future from now is supposed to be understood through the bible. But the bible is imperfect and the texts do not take into account things that humanity has learned in the 2000 years since the death of Jesus. There are many errors in it, such as the "creation story" and the "flood".
• Islam is not based on science. Islam is based on Christianity (which is itself far from perfect). The Quran was also a product of its time. It was fixed in time during around 700 CE. It has similar inconsistencies with facts. Muslims also have serious problems in their theology, which is evident in their behaviour.
• Hinduism is not based on science. It pre-dates science, and the development of modern science was mostly separate from hinduism. The "sciences" that hinduism gave rise to such as Ayurveda have not been proven to be scientific and some safety issues have been identified.

And yet, all of these religions have some meta-truth, which their followers and leaders are completely blind to. It is this meta-religion (study of religion and the relationship of humanity and religion) that is the basis of Sciencism. Sciencism is also founded on the study of religions, history, ethics, society, scientific revelations (scientific knowledge), and the scientific method.
