Sciencism

Atheists don't believe in the supernatural. According to atheism, the universe, and everything in it is as-is. No description of, or explanation for the "ultimate cause" is needed. There is no ultimate meaning, only the meaning that we make for ourselves. And science is the tool which atheists use to understand their environment and to control it.

Sciencism is not the same as atheism, because in Sciencism there is a God - Science. Science is not merely a tool. Science is the ultimate cause, the being that started it all. Sciencists worship Science, the same way people of other religions worship their gods and goddesses.
